We are an independently owned & operated cannabis retail company, and proud to be Toronto’s very first legal cannabis store, opening our flagship location on Queen Street West April 1st, 2019. I used to come to this store regularly, but one thing really turned me off: the tip prompt at checkout. This is the only cannabis store I've been to that asks for a tip when you're simply buying a product. Honestly, it feels awkward and unnecessary. What exactly am I tipping for? You're not serving me food, providing table service, or offering any special service beyond a normal retail transaction. You're just selling a product. I'm happy to pay for what I buy, but constantly being prompted for a tip in this type of business feels cheap and out of place. It's one of the main reasons I no longer shop here."

Excellent experience at Honey Pot Cannabis. The store was clean, well organized, and had a great selection of products. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. They recommended exactly what I was looking for, and the pricing was fair. Checkout was quick and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and professional. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Honey Pot Cannabis to anyone looking for great service and quality products.

I'm a regular customer as I live in the building next door. I was sold a faulty vape in December 2025 which ended up causing injuries on the upper wall of my mouth. I brought the faulty device and cartridge to the store in January 2026 and the gentleman there apologized and exchanged the product without any hassle. Less than a month later, it happened again and I took the merchandise to the store again. This time, there was only a lady managing the store and it seems like she didn't really believe me as although she reluctantly processed my refund after a VERY long conversation, she refused to exchange it for a good device and asked me to pay for it. Essentially, I had two experiences of bad merchandise from this location, back to back, and the store employee refused to exchange their faulty product. I was upset and instead of being rude to them, I just left and will not be returning. I am writing this review so the store manager/owner can see this and educate their employees. There are enough competitors in the market and I guess I will be walking an extra 3 minutes to get my stuff from now on. You guys are operating in a very saturated market. Please understand the value of customer service to your business.
