Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

this has become my regular go to stop ! i've been here a few times and the staff have always been nice. tyrone has helped me out the last few times i've been and he's so personable. very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to have a little chat with!
I visit this dispensary all the time and usually have a great experience, but this was the first time I noticed the service was considerably slower than usual. The two girls working were friendly. It was clear that one of them has been there for a while because of her strong knowledge about the products and how helpful she was with customers.
That being said, the communication between her and her coworker could have been better. It was a busy and stressful situation with a lot of customers, so I understand that pressure can build, but the way Amery I believe is her name communicated with the trainee could have been handled better. Seeing the frustration and lack of communication between them was a little uncomfortable and seemed to make the situation more difficult for everyone involved.
The employees here are awesome but store warranty policy is terrible. I come in on a regular basis to get disposable vapes and never ask for receipts. On my last visit, the worker insisted that I keep my receipt in case it leaks, her exact words were "if anything happens you can exchange as long as its within a 14 days window".
Oddly enough, this vape started leaking as soon as I started using it. I stopped using it but cannot help that the leak drained a good amount of product. When I can back after 10 days and showed the employee, he stated that exchanges cannot be for used products as mine is now half empty.
How would someone possibly know of a leak or issue if they need to identify that without using the vape? And when a vape does leak, of course the product inside will be low. I would rather you guys have a final sale policy so you don't waste people's time. There is no purpose to offering a policy that forces customers to jump through so many hoops on such a low value item. Especially when returning customers have already spent hundreds if not thousands in store.
This is probably one of the best shops I've been to. Great customer service. I don't really dabble with smokables but I wanted to pick something up for my partner for his birthday. Jade and the other people working there made me feel so comfortable, she was so knowledgable and helped me pick out a couple different products.
I wasn't sure and kind of overwhelmed with the different options and strains and everything but she explained it all so well and offered different suggestions. It was a little busy when I went but she took the time to explain the differences between CBD, CBG, and all that to me. I have a lot of anxiety and she recommended a few things for myself too so I can get a good sleep. She hit the nail on the head, I passed out so hard, that was the best sleep I've had in so long.
Highly recommend (no pun intended hehe) my partner loved the iced peachy mango vape by ness and queen of bud infused pack she recommended too. I think you guys got some new regulars, thanks so much Jade!!
The most uncomfortable part of shopping here wasn't even the pricing — it was watching the staff repeatedly have to disappoint customer after customer over advertised prices that apparently only apply if you're part of some "buyer's club."
They won't even sell to you unless you are a member. They show a member price and a regular price but neither are available unless you are in their buyers club.
Doesn't smell like a pot store. Smells like a shakedown.
A lot of people walking through those doors clearly don't realize that until they get to the counter. By the time the staff explains it for the tenth or twentieth time that day, they seem completely emotionally detached from the interaction. Not rude in an explosive way — worse — just cold, exhausted, and utterly indifferent.
The whole atmosphere feels less like a neighborhood shop and more like a bait-and-switch membership scheme with a layer of smugness over top.
If you enjoy feeling talked down to while discovering the advertised prices aren't actually for you, this may be your place.
Otherwise, you'd probably have better luck scraping together roaches behind the alley. At least there are no membership requirements back there.
Finally, if you assume I just go out and make bad reviews I've done about 40 here in Edmonton and the huge majority of them are positive. In this case I feel it's not so much a negative review as a warning to other potential customers to shop anywhere else, to avoid massive disappointm ..
