I had a very disappointing experience at the Fire & Flower location after a mistake made by one of the staff members.
Yesterday, I purchased a Cheeky Cherry NSFW Liquid Diamond Dispenser, but I was mistakenly given a cartridge instead. When I returned to the store with my receipt to exchange the incorrect item, the staff member working the day shift told me she could not process an exchange because I didn't have the card I used for the purchase. I specifically asked if she could do an exchange instead of a return, as the mistake was made by the store and I didn't want to drive all the way home just to get my card.
She insisted that "the machine won't allow it," so I had no choice but to drive home, get my card, and return to the store.
When I came back, she completed the exchange without even asking for or using my card, proving that the exchange could have been done all along. This made it feel like I was unnecessarily inconvenienced for a mistake that was not mine.
What disappointed me most was not the original error, because mistakes happen, but the lack of honesty and customer service afterward. Instead of helping resolve a problem caused by the store, I was made to waste my time and fuel for no reason.
I hope management reviews this incident and reminds staff to treat customers fairly and professionally. A little honesty and willingness to help would have made this a completely different experience.
Great products love the staff always very helpful. Shawn is always been my main guy there very helpful at getting me the best deal really appreciate the atmosphere every time I stop by will be a loyal customer
Came into this location on a trip and needed some product to help me relax. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Shawn the manager there knew his stuff and gave great recommendations. If im ever in the area again ill definitely be swinging by again.
Kara was very polite and got everything that was wanted. I would highly recommend the people to come here because I'm definitely coming back. And she always made sure that she got the names right within the merch. And she had everything spot on and made us feel very comfortable and confident on what was being bought.
This is my go-to stop when I'm in Yorkton visiting my wife. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and good selection, not much more you can ask for.
