Super cute store and the staff is really friendly! It was my first time shopping in a cannabis store and they made it so stress free, answered all the questions i had, gave me time to browse a bit and they even have a tablet to scroll through all their stock, it was an amazing experience and they have a lot of different things to pick from! I'd highly recommend shopping here especially if it's your first time
Always more expensive than the other place in town and they always have the doors locked as the person working is on "break" several times throughout the day.
Reply: I understand your employees need to break but breaking doesn't mean they have to leave the store; that is unprofessional to leave a retail store closed for how ever long so you can get a coffee. If your employees have to leave you (the owner) should be providing coverage to them. People don't want to wait around for an employee to return, I have been there several times when it's closed and other people come and are disappointed as well, it doesn't look good on your behalf. You have posted hours you should be abiding by, if the store has to close daily for a break (when it really shouldn't) then make your hours reflect that.

I'm going to be as transparent as possible. I am not only a long-time customer of Shinybud Blenheim. I also work in the cannabis industry and for the other store in Blenheim. On July 31, 2025 I had a customer inform me that the girl at Shinybud said we wouldn't have the product she wanted and that we were going out of business. ( This employee in question, is Brianna/Bri and just so happens to be the girlfriend of current manager Greg ) I had heard this before from other customers, Brianna herself had asked me and co-worker when she came to our store on May 7, 2025.
I called the store on July 31st, I asked Greg to talk to Brianna & ask her to stop talking negatively and making rumors. I informed Greg if I had to tell my boss, a cease & desist letter would likely be sent, which probably wouldn't be too good for his girlfriend or him since he got her hired. ( Greg agreed & said consider the situation being dealt with!
I have gone in twice since then, the first time was the 2nd or 3rd of August, 2025.
Greg took care of my purchase and everything was good. Fast-forward to August 7th, 2025. Greg or Brianna weren't working, but when I went back to buy something I was informed I wasn't allowed back. I have contacted the VP of operations for Shinybud Inc, and I'm also trying to contact the Owner and GM. I have NEVER had an issue with any employee of Shinybud since they opened about 4 years ago, I've had nothing but positive interactions, i ..
Always got inventory. I will say though, worth checking the packaging date on ur purchases.. its been a couple times where I was sold something packaged a year ago or more.. with one purchase that was packaged in 2024.. lol I mean I understand its better to sell inventory than waste it but just beware. Also depends on your preference.
Very respectful and were willing to talk to me and help me find the best buds for my anxiety. 10/10 recommend going to see the staff ... and they have stickers
