I have had positive experiences at Pops Cannabis in the past, I typically enter knowing exactly what product I want and simply require standard customer service.
On a recent visit, as I was leaving the store, a female staff member stated that next time she would recommend something "non-cancerous." This is an inappropriate and irresponsible comment. Budtenders are not medical professionals, and making unsubstantiated claims implying serious health risks is unprofessional and outside the scope of their role.
I am also aware that this same staff member engages customers in conversations of a similar nature, including expressing strong personal views unrelated to cannabis retail. Staff should not be using their position to share personal ideologies or make inflammatory statements to customers.
After learning that this individual has publicly shared hateful content online; including anti-LGBTQAI+ rhetoric; I no longer feel safe or comfortable returning to this store if this behaviour reflects what management permits.
Professional boundaries, respect, and customer safety matter. I hope management takes this seriously.

I have yet to have a bad experience here. They are always willing to show me options and answer all my questions! Ive actually gone in and said "My vibe is (x) today" and the recommended the perfect products! The staff that i've experienced are always kind and willing to listen to my problems, even though im sure they hear EVERYONES problems. 10/10 I will always love Pops!
Most incredible staff + service which is professional yet warm :)
So I try and help an employee going through a panic attack due to employees being sexual with her. Calm her down.
Continue to purchase from the business even tho they support the sexual misconduct.
Now without reason or evidence they ban me from the store.
Will be making sure it gets to higher up management and throughout the Almonte community.
Will be a large loss of customers and business
