I had a very frustrating experience with Growers Retail on Danforth.
In June 2026, I ordered two identical packs of pre-rolls online for pickup. When I arrived, I was told there was only one pack left in stock. The clerk apologized and said they would request a refund through the online platform for the second pack, and that it would take 5–7 business days.
After waiting two weeks with no refund, I called the store. The same clerk spoke with the manager and then called me back to admit that he had made a mistake when processing the order. Because of that error, I was told I could no longer receive a refund. Instead, they offered to give me the second pack if I came back to the store.
I returned to pick it up, but they handed me CBD pre-rolls instead of the product I had originally ordered. After multiple trips, phone calls, and conflicting information, I still didn't receive what I paid for.
Mistakes happen, but this situation was handled poorly from start to finish. I expected either a proper refund or the correct replacement product, and I received neither. Needless to say, I will not be coming back here to shop and you shouldn't either. There's a very lovely Value Buds just across the street 🙏

The staff is very knowledgeable and prompt in service, as well, very friendly
Jekyll and Hyde. First time I visited it was great. The clerk was knowledgeable and helpful. Second time, the clerk didn't take her headphones off and sold me the entirely wrong product. Tried to tell me I was wrong and eventually the manager solved the problem within seconds not before wasting my time. Please educate your staff….. either way I won't be back.
They have good prices, a variety of flowers and you neeeed to get your seeds from here! Seeds have the fastest sprout time ever. It took 2 days to sprout, I can't wait for blooms!
