Ever since this place sold to value buds it has gone downhill. The staff used to be so friendly and genuinely cared about their clientele (shoutout Tanis!) but now the staff are apathetic and downright rude.
This is always what happens when a smaller company gets sold to a massive corporation like Alcana The good staff get treated like crap so they leave and management hires new (much worse) staff.
I've shopped here almost since it opened and I will say after my experience yesterday I will never spend my money at a cost cannabis location, or value buds for that matter, again. CO-OP cannabis is closer to me and their staff are nicer now. I used to only go to COST because of how awesome the staff used to be.
To both the staff and management: do better.
Customer service here is amazing The Manager is always on top of things, knowledgeable and Happy with tons of great energy. And always keeps good products in. We drive 30 min just because of this, to shop at this particular Cost Cannabis.
This is a great shop! I shop here for many reasons, but mainly because of the great prices and Tannis. Tannis (I hope I spelled that right) is very friendly and helpful. She's patient with me when I have questions and her recommendations have been great. If you're overwhelmed because you don't know much about the products and you're nervous to ask about it, stop here and ask for Tannis.
Love this store. The current fill-in acting manager is absolutely incredible. She is amazing with ordering. She really knows her stuff. I drive an hour from outside of the city just to see her at Richmond. They always have the product I need and she is so helpful. I feel terrible that I do not have her name. You will know her by the beautiful tooth tattoo on her forearm . I hope she Continues to do the ordering for the store when the usual manager is back. Don't get me wrong. He is great as well. Just she is a level above. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I give them six stars!!
My girlfriend Sarah and I are regulars at this wonderful store. To be honest, the reason we keep coming back is because of one lovely individual that works there named Tannis. She's got a bright deminer and is always a pleasure to interact with. Exceptional service, always in a fantastic mood. Not only can she put a smile on your face but puts the right product in your hand. TANNIS YOU ARE OUR FAV!!! Well done cost cannabis for hiring this Gem.
