Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Ive been going to alot of canna cabanas and I want to just say the team here is always a delight i cannot lie. What really stood out is there attitude and care for service. Jacob my man you have some of the best energy at the shop I had to single you out im sorry team. But he made my sunday morning very enjoyable. Great work guys!!!!
Jacob at Canna Cabana is hands-down one of the best budtenders I've come across. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and actually takes the time to understand what you're looking for instead of just rushing the sale. He explains everything clearly and gives solid recommendations that hit. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customer experience. Very chill, welcoming vibe when he's working. Definitely deserves 5 stars—Canna Cabana is lucky to have him!
My neighborhood shop! I always have a good experience here. The staff are all very kind and helpful. The shop is well stocked with lots of variety. Becca helped me today and she was lovely.

I tried using the Cabana app to place an order for the first time because I was curious how it worked. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating.
After placing the order, I expected the normal 10–20 minute wait for confirmation, but nothing came. When I called the store to try to cancel the order, the employees told me they couldn't find the order in their system. During that call, one employee said to me, "What do you want me to do about it?" in a dismissive tone, as if my request was a waste of his time.
Later I spoke with a woman who told me the manager would call me the next day to discuss the cancellation and refund. That call never happened. Instead, the entire day passed and I suddenly received an email saying the order had been confirmed. Shortly after that, a delivery driver called to say he was on his way.
When I explained politely that I had already requested a cancellation, he was silent for a few seconds and then said, "I know," before hanging up. The conversation clearly wasn't finished, so I called back, but he claimed he thought the conversation was over. The interaction felt dismissive, especially considering someone at the store could have stopped the order from being sent out in the first place. I did become frustrated during that call, but by that point the experience had already been building for hours.
I want to be clear that I actually like Cabana. I think your prices are some of the most affordable and I enjoy the selection. ..
