A Penske delivery truck servicing this Value Buds location completely blocked the only available exit from a section of the parking lot, trapping 10–12 vehicles for 15 minutes with no alternative egress. When asked to briefly clear the route so trapped motorists could leave, the driver refused. Value Buds staff then intervened with incredibly rude and hostile behavior—yelling, ordering me off the public sidewalk, and defending the blockage by claiming this is their "regular Friday delivery time." Blocking exit routes is a serious safety hazard, and the staff's unprofessional conduct made a bad situation worse. Video evidence of the full blockage and interaction has been submitted to the City of Edmonton 311 and EPS non-emergency for review.
The worst staff ever. Last time I was here it was around 9:30 pm, close to closing time, I was the only customer in the store, and the only car in the parking lot. There were two unsocialized 30-something guys behind the counter who mumbled and couldn't make eye contact. They were painfully awkward and it made me uncomfortable. They couldn't find 2 of the pre-rolls I asked for, and sold me an individual 1 g joint of a strain instead of the 10 pack I asked for. Then, as I'm paying, one of them tells me I'm parked blocking their loading zone? And the other says I'm blocking the accessibility ramp? But there's no signage that it's the handicap stall, and the parking lot was covered in snow. I was parked to the right of the ramp, so I don't think it was the handicap stall anyways, but I was also the only customer in the store/parking lot, so???? Add any amount of signage to let people know where their stalls are, if it's signed then obviously I'm not gonna park there. Why make a big deal out of it and shame me about it when it's an empty store & parking lot? This was 2 months ago, I haven't been back since, and I won't be back again. Plenty of cannabis stores to choose from in this town, I'll gladly drive a bit further to one with staff who've met a woman before and are capable of human interaction, and where they'll actually sell me what I ask for
I have had the best service here. All the staff have been really helpful and friendly. They have a really good selection of products here. I'm impressed and will be back.
Got a disposable pen that was priced at $29.99 but was charged $39.99, when I asked the cashier about the overcharge and apparently those are the prices for tomorrow? Don't really understand why prices are advertised at all if this is the case.
Edit: Came again as it's the closest dispensary to my house and once again got charged a different price from the board and wasent willing to match, once again why even have posted prices if the charged price isn't consistent?
