Budtender was super lovely and helped me find exactly the edibles I was looking for. (I'm a newb so I really don't know much about exactly what I was needing!)
A few years ago, I purchased two vape cartridges from this store. One of them stopped working shortly after, so I went back to exchange it. Since they keep customer purchases on file, I assumed it would be straightforward. Instead, I was told they couldn't help because there was a price difference between the two cartridges and they couldn't determine which one was defective.
When I got home, I found the receipt and realized the "price difference" they were referring to was only $0.20. I returned to the store, spoke with the manager, and they reluctantly agreed to exchange it.
Afterward, I left a review about my experience and was met with completely inappropriate behavior from staff. I was repeatedly told what ethnicities they were, along with comments insisting they "couldn't be racist." Staff also repeatedly used my name to make it clear they knew exactly who had written the review.
At the time, I removed my original post because I didn't want to deal with the harassment that followed. Now that I've moved, I feel comfortable sharing this experience again. Customers should be able to leave honest reviews without being intimidated or singled out afterward.
I was served by a older lady who recommended a product , said it was really good... so she upsold me on this product...turns out it is really terrible worse then home grown..but yet she said it was amazing good quality stuff....I have never been so disappointed. Spent $95 on garbage...I will never go back nor will I recommend any of my friends or family to there either..bud tenders should really know the product not just upsell the worst of the worst of products
"The worst" location to spend your money.The middle aged lady there is the worst customer service representative I have encountered since I born in Edmonton from 25 years,.
This lady decides how to talk and behave with you based on your colour.
I knew these things happen but I did not expect this kind of treatment here in Canada being a black man.
Worst experience, worst customer service.
Not recommended to anybody who wants to be talked with Respect.
If you want to be disrespected, want to feel Insulted. Sure you should go there.
