This is my first review of a Cannabis spot. I'm a business travel guy, but this is my local (best coffee shop across the street).
There is a dynamic duo. An Indian no-nonsense manager type who knows EVERY product and a kind of hippie long-nails peer who can turn my confused (new to cannabis) rantings into product recommendations. They are patient with me. A couple times the new products they have helped me try, helped facilitate great personal triumphs in healing usage. Safe, affordable, good advice.
But um the BIG thing too - their rewards program is a package collection whose points take off $ cash $ from my bill. It makes a difference, that's the Value!
I feel welcome here, it used to be the best coffee shop in the Annex for a long time. It's nice to see some great service still in the space.
The staff at this location are fabulous. They are always friendly and helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Very importantly, they adhere to the law, as it is a government-licenced cannabis shop -- sometimes potential customers don't appreciate that. I would like to commend two workers in particular: the petite brown-complexioned worker with short hair, and the slightly taller young Black woman, for their continuing professionalism and maintenance of a safe and friendly shopping environment.
One of the budtenders had no knowledge of the products, wouldn't put in any effort to engage with me on the products, and when I asked for her opinions all she could do was direct me to the menu. When I asked if she had any thoughts on the options she said she never tried them. That shouldn't matter you're suppose to have awarness of what you sell and to go off of what other customers tell you or buy. You should study your products even if you haven't smoked them. She appeared like a stereotypical warm body just there to work the cash register and get product. I refuse to shop at stores with these low standards for their staff.
i have been here a few times since the store has been open, and i never felt the need to leave a review until now. the new employee (shorter, pixie cut, glasses) is a fantastic addition to this team. they are attentive, knowledgeable, and have some of the best customer service skills i have seen from anyone else at this location. im happy to shop here again if they are working!
Great staff! T was lovely and such an accommodating staff thank you for being so polite and helping me with all of my purchases!
