Love this store! Gorgeous displays showing off all the real product, fantastic friendly staff, great product selection from high-end to budget friendly. Can't say enough good things about this store! 🎉
Five stars for James, the self-proclaimed manager, for his unwavering dedication to "different store policy."
Despite looking nowhere near 25, I was refused service because I didn't have my physical ID with me. I even ran all the way home to print copies of my identification, only to be told that photocopies aren't accepted. It would have been nice to know that before wasting my time. My fellow neighbours need to know this 25 thing before they come here and waste their time.
What's especially frustrating is that this policy seems completely inconsistent with other Neighbourhood/Fika locations, where staff have been far more reasonable and professional. The experience felt less about following the law and more about making things unnecessarily difficult.
If you're planning to visit this location, make sure you bring your original physical ID—nothing else will do. Otherwise, don't expect any flexibility, common sense, or clear communication. They're budtender for a reason as their application of professional judgment is extremely poor.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I won't be returning to the same associate.
I come to this place a few times a week and usually I like it. I am also a heavy smoker as I smoke daily. Tonight I ran out and took 15 mins to get to this dispensary cause its one of the few places that stay open until 11pm. I do admit it was a bit of a crunch but I made it there 5 minutes before close as the lady was locking up the door. I waved at her to let me in as it wasn't 11 yet but she refused. I held my phone up to the door to show her it wasn't 11 yet and she just waved me off rudely. I have come to this place right before close lots of times before. My usual spot closes at 10 so I always come here when I forget to run out earlier. Anyway it really sucks cause now Im screwed for tonight and I'm pretty dam pissed. It was these two woman behind the counter. I will definitely be going back tomorrow morning to see if I can find out what their names are.
I love FIKA. This is my go-to dispensary. The staff is always so friendly and willing to help.
I had an issue with my cart leaking after buying a new battery, and the staff member I spoke to was so knowledgeable when giving advice on how to prevent burning or damaging the cart.
I also had another staff member in the past go as far as to take me outside the store to try and troubleshoot my cart and battery before I purchased the new one.
Best dispensary in Toronto for sure!
