This location has gone to shit over the last few months. Product quality is at an all time lol and the store will just inexplicably close for long periods of time in the middle of the work day. I will not be giving them my business any longer and I suggest that no one else does as well. There are too many options available to come here and deal with their bullshit on a consistent basis
I want to talk about an experience I had yesterday that really upset me. Yesterday around 7:00 pm I went to this dispensary that I come to ALL the time, unfortunately this time, the woman behind the desk told me I needed my ID to make a purchase, as they ID anyone they believe to be under 45, which would have made sense if that same woman didn't ID me the last time I was there. Which I told her, "you didn't ID me last time so
I'm confused why you are today?" She proceeded to let me know it's illegal & that she won't sell it to me unless I had an ID. If this is a rule, then be consistent on said rule. She processed and said "I can ask for a physical ID whenever I feel fit, even if I didn't ID you last time." I tried showing her my ID I had on my phone but she insisted it needed to be physical. Her tone when speaking to me was so condescending I thought I was tripping until my friend on my phone who heard the whole exchange on the phone said "why is she talking to you like that?" Which confirmed to me that there's some tone/attitude present. Okay, cool. I went and got my ID and came back an hour later, this time two ppl were in front of me and she did not ask both those customers for ID. When it came to my turn, I gave her my id, got my things, and asked her why didn't she ID those customers before me? The same energy she had previously she didn't have this time. She muttered "I know that woman, she's a regular" I asked, "the man, you didn't ID them either" BOTH custo ..
I appreciate Value Buds' convenience on my commute home, but my recent experience with staff member Angel was disappointing. While I understand the legal requirement to check ID for anyone who appears underage, I was singled out for an ID check while a young lady standing directly next to me, who I was accompanying, was not asked. This selective approach felt discriminatory.
After providing my ID, Angel proceeded to photograph it in front of me without explanation. This behavior came across as aggressive, unprofessional and made me deeply uncomfortable, especially as a regular customer with an existing account at this location.
I've been a loyal patron, but experiences like this make it difficult to want to return. I'd urge Angel and the team to reflect on how you treat regular customers and ensure ID checks are applied consistently and respectfully. I'm open to giving Value Buds another chance, but service will need to improve.

When I come to this location, since changing to Value Buds, I've had amazing service and great product recommendations. Maya is always very helpful and kind. I will continue to return
