For the limited variety they carry, the stock still felt thin. Although, the bigger issue for me, and the breaking point, was the customer service at the counter.
The employee came across as awkward, unprofessional, and the entire interaction felt uncomfortable. At one point they even grabbed items out of my hands without saying a word.
I walked in intending to buy several products ranging from flower to edibles. I'd already picked out quite a few items and was asking about a couple more. I even had my wallet out but the interaction at the counter was enough for me to leave without purchasing anything.
I found another dispensary a two minute walk west on Wilson and had the opposite experience. Their stock was much more expansive and the customer service there was superb. Impeccable, relatively speaking. I ended up spending over $200.
Take Me Home lost what I consider a big sale and a potential repeat customer because of that one short interaction. Which is unfortunate as I would much rather give my business to a local store instead of a corporate chain.
I'm leaving 2 stars rather than 1 because this may have been a new employee or an off day, and I don't want to judge the entire store and their sister location based on a single visit. That said, first impressions matter. Hopefully management can improve training going forward.
