I was a fairly regular customer here at one point, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. They would recognize me when I came in, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. I purchased a package of ten pre-rolls, only to discover when I got home that it contained nine instead of ten, and one of those nine was visibly damaged and squished. Obviously, mistakes can happen during packaging. What matters is how a business responds when a customer brings a legitimate problem to its attention.I called the store immediately and was told to contact the supplier. The supplier flat out said that they would do nothing. I then returned to the store in person, only to be told that their policy was zero refunds, even though I had been sold a product that was both incomplete and damaged. I understand that businesses need policies, but a blanket "no refunds" policy should not be an excuse to avoid taking responsibility for a defective product. I wasn't asking for special treatment or trying to return something I simply didn't like. I was asking them to address a straightforward mistake that resulted in me paying for a product I did not receive in acceptable condition. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I had been a regular customer and had always had positive interactions with the staff. Unfortunately, when there was an actual problem, the business chose to pass the responsibility to the supplier rather than stand behind the product it sold ..
