Purchased a Fuego Electric Black Cherry 1g vape cartridge here that turned out to be clearly defective — visible stationary air bubbles around the coil, oil noticeably darker than normal, and a burnt metallic taste from the very first pull that was irritating my throat.
Returned the next day with the cartridge and packaging. The manager initially refused to acknowledge the defect, dismissed my concern about the throat irritation entirely, and offered me a 10% discount instead of a replacement. I only got a proper exchange after I insisted she open a sealed unit in front of me for visual comparison — at which point the difference between the two was obvious.
I've been using vape carts for years and know what a defective one looks like. Customers shouldn't have to argue at length or prove their product knowledge to staff to get a fair resolution on a clearly defective regulated product. A burnt metallic taste and throat irritation from an inhalable product is a health concern, not a return policy debate.
Two stars instead of one because they did eventually do the exchange, but the experience of getting there was unnecessarily stressful and dismissive.
