| Not my regular shopping store. Quickly stopped in, wanting to get a colleague a gift, she's turning 50. She struggles with sleep and is always trying different edibles. I am not an expert and I am 100% not a connoisseur of anything cannabis— i felt guilty thinking of going in. Clearly I have years of embedded stigma around cannabis, I digress— i enter store- it's simple, clean, inviting, zero intimidation. Phew. I am then greeted by this tiny person with an insurmountable knowledge base who just casually asks what I am looking for, very chill and nonchalant conversation- Lindsay than recommended some edibles after some cliff note explanations of different types and brands and then wishes me safe travels on the long weekend. Way easier than ordering a coffee and having that awkward conversation. Anyways, great customer service which sent me on a Google journey at the ferry line up about the store, the product and the geek in me- all things on government regulations and so forth on edibles and non edibles. Cheers to the rare experience of walking into a place you are so uncomfortable to walk into but leave feeling not like an imposter. Also.. kudos to the industry for changing the stigma and for making the stores "imposter" friendly. And photos?? Seriously, you are lucky i didn't walk in wearing a large sun hat and glasses looking like where in the world is Carmen sandiego ;) In a world where there are a million cannabis places, Nanaimo Cannabis supply, thanks for no .. | ||
