I've been a Sessions member for quite some time and a shop at various locations, but this particular store often feels unwelcoming. From what I've observed, warmth and friendliness seem to be extended mainly to regular customers, while others(myself) are met with not so much warm and engaging posture. It's worth remembering that every regular was once a first-time customer.
On multiple occasions, the overall tone and body language from some staff members—particularly two employees (brown thicker women)has felt dismissive and, at times, a lil aggressive. There's a lack of basic courtesy: no smile, no warmth, and minimal effort to make customers feel comfortable. This made me hesitate to even complete a purchase, and at one point I genuinely considered leaving without buying anything. The brown dude with the braids is chill- good vibes!
I want to be clear that this feedback is not meant to get anyone in trouble or fired. However, cannabis customers come in for many reasons—medical, recreational, or simply to unwind—and regardless of the reason, this is still a business and a customer-facing establishment. Kindness, professionalism, and basic courtesy go a long way.
No one expects friendship or special treatment—just a respectful, welcoming environment. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into improving the overall customer experience at this location.
