Unfortunately the lady working there is really dismissive like other reviews mention, either really high or feeling low
I go there usually when Val is there and she's super cool and helpful.
But I went in today(Sat evening) and there was this girl who absolutely had an ATTITUDE.
She seemed nice at first but I asked her about the specific joint I was looking for and she said she doesn't have it right now then she gave me some suggestions. That was nice of her but I didn't feel like getting anything else.
Suddenly she just grabbed one of the options that she suggested and then try to make me check out with it.
That was kinda unexpected but I apologized immediately that I may have confused her and told her I'm not really getting anything for today since they don't have what I'm looking for.
And you know what she said?
She said,
'Well, next time just go to our website so then WE can save our time😊' in a sarcastic way.
Yo, Really? Did you really have to make a comment like that?
That's not cool!
I've been to this store four different times, hoping maybe my first impressions were wrong — but every single visit was exactly the same. The woman working there is consistently rude, dismissive, and acts like she couldn't care less about helping customers. It honestly feels like she doesn't even want to make a sale. The energy is cold and unwelcoming, and after giving them multiple chances, I'm done. I will never come back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are far better cannabis stores out there where the staff actually appreciate your business and treat you with basic respect.

I had a terrible experience at Welcome Cannabis on Dundas. I forgot my wallet and couldn't pay by phone, so I asked politely if I could make a transfer since I had money in my account. The staff told me they don't take transfers — fair enough, I respected that and left.
When I got back to my car, I found $10 in cash. I went back in and asked the lady in the purple jacket what I could get for that. Her attitude was awful from the start. She was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was a burden for even asking. She told me what I could get, and the item came to $10.15. I was just 15 cents short.
There was a kind customer beside me who offered to help with the 15 cents, but the staff shut that down rudely. Eventually, the same lady gave me the 15 cents, but continued being extremely disrespectful…when I was asking about the strain …she was acting tough…😅…rolling her eyes, cutting me off, and acting like I had committed a crime. Just for 15 cents.
I understand there are policies. But there's a way to speak to people. I've never been treated so poorly over such a small thing. She acted like no one has ever helped her in her life. It was embarrassing and unnecessary.
The first guy I met earlier was respectful and just explained the policy. But her? Totally different story. I'll never go back there again, especially if I see her at the counter. When I return to Dundas, I'll drop off the 15 cents…..not because I owe them, but because I don't want to carry any reminder of ..
