I came in yesterday around 1:30 and the young lady that was working wasn't pleasant. She was very quiet when she spoke to me and I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. I also specifically asked for the palmetto weed cigs and she gave me a different brand. She asked for my ID and didn't even look at it. I felt like it was quite rude and I didn't get the product I was looking for. It's a shame because the rest of the staff has been really friendly.
There's a girl working there today who I have to deal with often and it's always a fiasco. I ask for a gummy and she immediately puts me through an inquisition. What flavour, what colour, sativa or indica, CBD/THC/BBD, whatever. Did I ASK for indica or sativa!? Did I ASK what flavours you have?? No, I didn't. So why are you wasting my time and delaying my purchase to give me your propaganda commercial about all the variations you have of the exact same product?? If I didn't ask about it, I don't want to hear about it. If you give me a package of gummies and it's not to my satisfaction, I'll simply ask if you have something else. Then when I finally just break down out of frustration and ask for the first gummy I see on the shelf, she starts slamming the gummies on the counter and spinning the interac machine around real fast like she's having a meltdown. Then complains to my face about how she's just trying to give me the product I wanted. AGAIN - if I don't specify a flavour or variety, that means I don't care. It's all the EXACT same thing! Why do I care about what freaking flavours you have?? Save your in person commercials for the little kiddos who are really entertained by weed names and gummy shapes. I don't care! When I ask for a gummy, give me one. End of transaction. I just can't anymore. This is the only place in town and the only staff at this location I have this problem with. She has some sort of hostility she can't control and she makes every transacti ..
Not a review of the store so much as of product and policies. Spent almost a hundred bucks on an ounce of the shittiest weed on Earth----btw, do NOT waste your money on Back Forty product. Don't worry, I know better than to try and return it, but maybe stop selling actual shit in weed bags, okay?
Kinda of a getto place. The only reason I'm giving Value buds a two star is because the staff is pleasant and helpful or else it would be a one star. Prices seem high and the selection is not great at all. They handwrite what they have in a black marker on a white board which is kinda hard to read. Not much in terms of pipe or bongs. I won't be back.
I started coming value buds after spiritleaf closed down in my area. Time after time I get recommended bags that are very poor quality bud, more stems over bud, and very dry. Bags that are packaged from over 10 to 12 months ago, if not longer. The one day I asked about this and the employee with the pink hair and glasses told me that I pay for what I get and if I want better ounces I need to pay for better stuff. So she listed the 2 options above 100.00 but she still couldn't guarantee me that it would be any better than the 80 to 90 dollar ounces that are packaged a year ago and have more stems than buds and dry weed. She explained that some bags are on sale because of being old. So when I started asking for pretty much every other ounce they had in the store. I was told its all the same so dont really understand the fire sale board, considering she told me all their stock is garbage. She even made the remark to just get off a dealer like she does.
It was such unpleasant customer service. So I've started going to another shop in the area Cana Cabana and they have member pricing. They are able to give good recommendations and I pay the same price for way way better quality over there.
Will never be wasting my time at value buds on 112th again.
