I visited this Tokyo Smoke yesterday July 14th around 10pm, and had a very weird experience before entering the store.
The gentleman asked for my ID, and I happily showed him my OHIP card and he said that my OHIP wasn't VALID?? I was super confused, and he asked me if I had my driver's licence and I showed that to him.
Not be mean or anything, but you guys need to train your staff better with dealing with the public. An OHIP card is a very valid ID, there was no need to have me do that.
Not a traditional review, but I think the employees need to be commended. My girlfriend was being followed on the street at night and went into the store visibly very shaken. The employees there that day went above and beyond to make her feel safe and help calm her down. I hope that this gets back to them somehow, because they deserve recognition for being wonderful to her.
On top of this, we've had previously very helpful and friendly service from the same employees who were there that night.
I had a hard day and I walked in here and asked for a recommendation. A very sweet lady told me she knew exactly what I needed with such confidence, it was another level of customer service. Omg was she right. She told me the product made her happy and giggly - so it makes sense that I am on my third verse of a rap about my cats. Thank youuu
I was poorly treated for the first time and for a guy I never saw at the store. I am a frequent and nice customer and I got my pick up order cancelled without previous notice. That's a shame!
This location has the single most helpful employee/educator I have ever encountered through my search for my 4/20 reupp. They're system manager helped me on the phone to not only explain a technical error which was faulted not to this store but to the middle man and testers, and was extremely honest and insightful aswell as being helpful and professional. I asked for cbd recommendations for my anxiety, and he professionally gave me his recommendations and advice in a way that was not attempting to be a diagnosis or prescription, aswell as not trying to act like a medical professional, acting like the manager of a major dispensary in Canada. I called ahead and was told stores that had what I was looking for aswell as everything I needed to know specifically about the products, and even his personal experience for trying different products which is different then hearing reviews or potentially biased descriptions. This man deserved a raise, and I will definitely be a life long loyal customer to Tokyo smoke.
