The intentional disrespect from this shop was truly heartbreaking during an already difficult time. This was the easiest decision for a lifetime boycott.
I walked in immediately after a tall man with his little dog. Another man came in after me. I was 2nd in the store of the 3 of us. I went right to the front because my mom who has cancer gave me exact instructions on what to get.
The cashier addressed myself and the man with the little dog. The man with the little dog stated to me loudly " you can go first". I responded- " are you sure? I will be quick". The cashier then looked at me and stated he would be serving the man with the little dog AND the man that came in AFTER me, before ever serving me(telling me I was last to all the men)
The sexism, anti lesbian aggression and power trip was on FULL display.
I just walked out. This business will never see a dime from me. Thankfully canna-cannabis had something similar. I was able to get my mom her edible in time for her bedtime routine.
To anyone reading this, go somewhere else. And if you do go here and they disrespect you, walk out. Dont give them a dollar or your time.
I had the most comical encounter when a bud tender told me ithsy couldn't serve me as if it was a loss for me hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 the most funny part is how he said it timidly as if id fuss over it 🤣🤣🤣, this is the most over saturated market ever, I have everything to gain and they have everything to lose by their refusal to serve me. I get to go to Cana Cabanna where they don't have all these internal issues. 🤣🤣🤣 I politely left a d went to a 5 star restaurant and ate at a place that they could never afford 🤣🤣🤣 LOSERS 🤣🤣🤣
I've been a member and regular customer at Friendly Stranger since 2022.
The store is always clean, spacious, and welcoming, with a great selection and something for everyone. They offer lots of variety, and the member deals are fairly priced. The staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and always provide excellent recommendations.
One area for improvement would be enhancing safety measures. Management should consider adding security or a doorbell camera to support the safety and comfort of both staff and customers.
