Usually have good experiences with this Value Buds but very unhappy with my transaction today. I was debating between two different vape carts, one at this location and one at a competitor. My final decision was based on price. The 1g Tropic OG Diamonds vape from Versus was listed on value buds website for $24.97 ($3 or $4 off the regular price).
When I arrived I asked for the cart and didn't realize what I was being charged before I had tapped my card. When my total was over $32 I questioned the price. I let the associate know that it's listed on their website on sale and would like that price. The associate said the item is not listed on their sale board therefore not on sale, and that I was probably looking at Alberta pricing. I confirmed the pricing online was for this location and the associate just kind of shrugged it off.
At this point I asked for a refund, I didn't feel it right that I came to this location for a posted price and didn't receive it, the associate misunderstood that for me asking for an exchange. When I clarified I didn't not want to swap the cart for another, but would like my money back to purchase a different cart at a competitor, he got very anxious. I did not say this in any kind of raised tone but it was a matter of principle for me. The associate was visibly shaking which I thought was odd given this is not a heated discussion. And the associate said he did not even know how to do a refund. He started to get frustrated at his compute ..
Friendly staff, great prices, great selection. What's not to love
This place is great, they have a decent selection. Staff is always friendly, and have great suggestions. I wish they had a few more options for concentrates and some options for pet safe CBD oils though! :-)
been going here for a little over 4 months and its been the best experience every time, wonderful staff always happy and talkative when i come in! my favourite dispensary.
