5Buds is a locally owned cannabis retail shop, 100% homegrown in Saskatchewan.

Our story began when four friendly Indigenous investment companies came together in a meeting early in 2018. Being good neighbors, the four knew each other and some had worked with others in the past. But never before had all four of them joined forces on a single venture.

In the spring of 2018, Canada was about to make history by legalizing cannabis. We were fortunate enough to get a chance to be a part of it. Our stores in Warman, North Battleford and Yorkton will be open in 2018 and spring 2019.

Our four founding members – Prince Albert First Nations Business Development, Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies, Des Nedhe Development, and Athabasca Basin Development – are each different but they do have one thing in common. All four members are proud to be good citizens, giving back to their communities and working to improve the lives of the Indigenous communities that own them.

We are proud to support local non-profit organizations in the communities in which we operate, and proud that the profits from 5Buds go towards building wealth and economic development opportunities for thirteen First Nations in Saskatchewan.
