One of the most professional, cleanest stores I have been to in the KW region. This is one of a few stores that have employees who know there stuff and don't just sell you on stuff. I've been in a handful of times now and will be coming back a lot more often! Thanks Ryan!
Although I wasn't there with my friend during the session in Waterloo, hearing about the way he was treated is really concerning. It's frustrating to know that despite presenting a valid government-issued ID, the staff refused to take the time to verify it properly and simply dismissed it.
Customer service should always prioritize professionalism and respect, especially when it comes to something as straightforward as verifying ID. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and it's a shame that this experience has left such a negative impression on my friend.
I recently attended a cannabis session in Waterloo, and despite being 28 years old, I was refused entry due to the budtender's assumption that my government-issued ID was not authentic. What frustrated me most was that she didn't even take the time to properly verify it—she simply dismissed it based on her own assumption. It felt as though her rigid knowledge and personal bias took precedence over the actual validity of my ID.
I'm confused as to why the store even claims to accept government-issued IDs if the staff can arbitrarily choose not to honor them based on their own preferences. It was a deeply disappointing experience, and the lack of basic customer service and understanding left me feeling disrespected. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
