Went for lunch on 13 July and service was terrible. I was ignored even when I asked for assistance. I have breakfast there often when running Hwy 6. I take many of my meals there. I'm saddened by new owners as it seems the service and quality are slipping.
New ownership. Smaller portions, larger price.
Ordered fries, poutine and 2 pop.
Both fries/poutine are now on small side plates, almost no cheese in poutine.
$27.60 before tip.
This is the second time I've had this issue here under the new owners. Won't be back

I have been coming here every since I was a kid - going on 40+ years. This year, there are new owners and things have changed. The food is still decent (I'm a fan of the poutine), however, the customer service from the new owners is pretty bad (abrupt, unfriendly, rude). I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now and go back... but more attention should be paid to good customer service. Three or 3.5 stars for the food... one star for service.
Today, returning from the lake, we decided to stop here to eat. After I saw that there were a lot of flies and the employees were preparing food with their bare hands, I hesitated to order something. But my wife still ordered a burger, I refused her 😁
As a result, she is now sitting and suffering from stomach pain. It is very difficult to watch how the food that people ordered is put on the window for the waiter to pick up, flies sit on it, the food could stand there for a minute. And the flies sat on it all the time. (I'm not talking about the burger, but about the food that people ordered on the spot)
