I love this store and especially the one on Rosedale and king St E in Hamilton. I would have rated it with five stars. However, Michelle was amazing the first few times I saw her. Then I asked her a question she was unsure of. She did give me her thoughts on it; which should have been the end of it. For whatever reason she went on to tell me to do research. Then to add insult to injury she proceeded to tell me how to do research like I was a child instead of actually being older then her. Doing research also involves talking to professionals in the field when possible. Her lack of knowledge was fine, but her attitude was not. I was too shocked and polite to say anything though. The manager has called me one of his happier regulars, so I am unsure what her problem is. As for Scott, Megan, Dakota, and Matt are wonderful and knowledgeable. They make the location very welcoming and friendly. I refuse to go to another store or chain, because of them. I do avoid Michelle however.
I had a great experience here, and a lot of that comes down to Matt. He was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely easy to talk to. It's rare to walk into a place and feel like the person helping you is actually present and cares about the interaction. Matt is that person. He made a simple visit feel like a real conversation. He's an asset to this team and exactly the kind of person that brings you back. Highly recommend.

Absolutely phone Stars I fell into inquire about some seeds and the gentleman that I spoke to answered all my questions fantastically! I was super thrilled and even if my purchase doesn't work out it doesn't even matter. I will now be of a customer at this location for sure!
