Pre-pay is the worst thing to implement when you have a vehicle that has a fuel tank larger than 100L. This has made going to any Petro (or anywhere else) worse that i have been to In the last year and a half. Its one thing to prevent fuel theft, but another to the ones that always pay no matter if its $30 or $180 when getting fuel
They did a very nice upgrade to the pumps and to the gas station. It looks great. Except now when I pay with cash, I have to go inside, pay first, then pump my gas and then go back inside to get my receipt and my change. If we lived in a tropical environment this would be all right. But when it's -40 I just want to pump my gas once and walk in once. I like the way the gas station was before the update. worked for me. Unfortunately, now that I have to walk in twice, I'll be using the gas station across the road all the time now ,as they do not require this. I can just pump my gas and pay after I'm done. Not a big deal for most. Just something for me that I always consider when it's cold out and they should too for the customers.
Staff and owners are always very helpful, cheerful and respectful.. Thank you everyone..
Super disorganized and not a friendly place
Our local gas station, we come here for everything and the staff are always friendly. But our most recent visit here, a woman working behind the counter that I am unfamiliar with, accused me of stealing when I was just standing beside my husband, who was paying for our items.... she had a bit of a speech impediment, so I didn't understand her the first time she asked, but the second time she said, "What are you hiding behind your back?!" Then I realized that I had my hand in my back pocket and removed it and put both hands up in front of me and turned around to prove to her that I had nothing. I get that it's your job to sus put people stealing, but she didn't even apologize for wrongfully accusing me! I'll be coming here to get my mail but nothing else.
