I don't shop here often but when I do it's more for convenience. Having said that, I really need to start checking packaging dates because I consistently get pre-rolls that were packaged 10+ months ago so they're dry, and less potent.
I don't feel like they carry a whole lot of craft or top shelf product and their prices are higher than others. No problems with staff but yeah, they keep giving me their old stock so I feel ripped off.
The only reason I went here recently was because I was tired and didn't feel like going to my usual spot, Happy Life Cannabis, down the road. And only because "for once" they had the same price on a strain I like, as Happy Life did. And mind you, that was ONLY because it was on sale at 14% off. If it was regular price, it would have been more expensive than Happy Life's regular price for this strain.
This is why I stopped shopping at Tokyo Smoke a long time ago, pretty much a couple of months after they opened, because of really high prices. I don't know where you think you get off, charging the prices you do. That kind of greed is what ruined Miss Jones cannabis stores. Where are they now? Gone. Nobody wants to pay a premium for the SAME weed everyone else is selling for less. Everyone in this city is cheaper than you and your store is NOT that special.
That said, the customer service was good, clerk was quite nice and wished me a good night of smoking (I bought flower). So that was kinda cool and not something I hear often. So, points on cordiality/customer service and that's why you get two stars rather than just one.
Creepy "trying extra hard to be nice" guy is a joke along with the sky high prices! Drive 5 mins down the road for way better prices and customer service! I would avoid this place at all costs. Buyer beware!
One of the best cannabis shops I've been to in North America, even out of all the states. The women working the counter was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, even about facts of Canada and the area around.
Vince is the best customer service representative I've ever met at a cannabis shop and I've met many great ones. Awesome place and awesome products
