You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!
Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I'm a regular customer because they close at 11pm, but when I got there with 8 minutes to spare, the lights were off and the door was locked. This happened on Jan 4th if a manager or the owner wants to look into the employees that will lead the store into losing customers.
One of the worst run stores I've been to. Doesn't matter if you're 19 or 90, or whether you want papers or pre rolls. Store takes their "we ID everyone" policy way too seriously to the point where staff have no problem turning away business even in cases where someone is clearly over 19. No other stores do this (including other Canna Cabana locations), and even casino security and gas station clerks don't ID if there's without a doubt someone is old enough. Don't bother coming to this location if you don't have ID on you as I've seen staff gladly turn away business because an older lady didn't have ID despite standing there in line for 10 mins waiting for her turn. Prices are also awful compared to other stores, as they force you to give out personal information to become a "member" in order to get any reasonable prices. If you don't want to you're just paying the sucker price.

Checking for ID is understandable, and expected if staff have reason to suspect someone is under age. If you have an elderly lady that's clearly over 19 without any doubt in anyone's mind but your business insists on sticking to this LOCATION SPECIFIC policy, that is your prerogative. I'm not losing business over this decision, but you should be aware that I've definitely walked into other Cana Cabana locations without being ID'd so either your staff need more training in this matter or corporate needs to review this supposed policy.
Also, this is a convenience purchase ..
Today I visited the Niagara falls location of canacabana by the Costco in the plaza and I was trying to return something that I had bought a couple of days ago. I bought a radicane 30 THC oil container and when I opened it the container was actually broken and it was completely unusable so I went back to the location where I shop at all the time and I was just looking to get an exchange. They basically refused to exchange or even acknowledge that there was an issue. The first person pushed me away completely and then finally said hey wait for the key holder to come in at which point the key holder came in and also said oh yeah we can't do exchanges, we don't do refunds. I asked what would happen if you sold me Bud that was moldy and they said same thing. So I said okay. I might not leave a good review for you guys because now I have a product I can't use. You're refusing to honor at which point she froze up awkwardly I asked what the name of the location was cuz I forgot for a moment and she refused to tell me what store I was in. So I said okay cool. I'll go outside and just see the screen or the sign on the front and I seen it was canaCabana. So now I'm leaving this review on the Google because I don't understand how there could be no policy for this. I know for a fact by law there is so I am pretty taken back with the whole thing. What a great experience, I wasn't really sure what to get but Taylor walked me through it and helped me pick out something that worked for me! 10/10 experience and very knowledgeable on their products!
I can't comment on the products because I could not go in because I had no actual ID. A scan of my passport on my phone was not acceptable.This place has the vibe of an American dispensary. You guys are doing business in Ontario, have some understanding of our cannabis culture!!!A teenager demanding IDs from middle aged people at the entrance…this is not chill at all. Not one word of welcome.
