Monopolized bs. We need other retailers to sell beer liquor and marijuana products in town. Along with having to enter a liquor store to purchase marijuana is a joke. One product is poison, the other has medicinal properties. There should be a completely seperate entrance or even in a different building. Forcing people who can't or don't consume alcohol to enter a building filled with alcohol is a crock.
Every time I visit it is always a pleasant experience (hats off to the staff they are delightful) I have a rapport
with most of the staff at this point and am never asked for
ID. Upon entering on a night when a freezing rain warning was in place Vicki was manning the door and told me I could not be inside without an ID in a very hostile tone. While I understand the need for IDs she could have conferred with many of the countless staff who would have known me. Instead she zealously enforced her position in a way that made me feel very unwelcome. Clearly it wasn't a particularly critical role as when I returned shortly after ID in hand she had left her post. I wasn't even id'd in the end.
First off I was in Thursday October 3rd at around 2 : 05 - 2 : 10 pm. The cashier in the Cannabis section asked if I wanted a receipt, I said Yes. I assumed she put in the bag, she never did..
I purchased a 8th of Palmetto Galactic Gas. Its some of the worst weed Ive ever gotten in my life. Brown looking and smells of musky stale earthy. Tastes like dirty earth, it made my chest hurt after smoking a joint and the back of my tounge hurts. Leaves a gross taste in your mouth
Very rude, lazy and drunk or under influence staff, dirtiest store in Bridgetown. I recommend to visit the other one NSLC store in Bridgetown as the one with century of culture ahead of this one on Dufferin ...
Staff are great at this location, knowledgeable and always on hand to help but the crown corp itself needs to get out of the stone age. Spirits buying for one needs an overhaul. Offer more customer engagement outside of The Port in Halifax please.
