This is a review specifically for the T2 top-o-matic roll your own machine. I purchased one several years ago, and it has been working great ever since I bought it. I point that out because I absolutely know how to use the machine, not a novice who is screwing it up and having these problems. I am on an extended vacation, and so I decided to buy another machine to save money while I was away from home. I bought another T2 machine, and this particular one is a piece of garbage. Every other cigarette, I try to make, the machine splits the tube halfway down when I try to inject the tobacco. Again, I am a seasoned experienced user of this product, so this is not user error. This particular machine is flawed Right out of the box. After contacting them, they still expect to be sent $12.50 on top of the postage paid to send it to them to get it "repaired". That's not a warranty, that's a load of crap! Continue to sell defective products, and people will stop buying them. I can say for absolute certainty when it comes time to buy another machine, it will absolutely not be this piece of garbage! Republic brands is a garbage corporation that obviously only cares about selling products, and absolutely nothing to do with customer service or standing behind their products. You've been warned!
I have used Tube Cut Gambler cigarette tubes for years and now they will not even smoke!? Is there plastic in my filters? Why does it now puff up every time I try to take a drag? Just know that we know you are doing something for more money and I will not continue to buy this garbage until you fix it back!
Worst tabacoo I have ever bought. Found a feather of some dead bird... SENT AN EMAIL AND DID NOT EVEN GET A RESPONSE. Their product is unusable, filled with foreign objects that don't belong in there and completely stale and dry. When you smoke, the cigarette literally shoots out fireworks
I've been using Gambler Tube Cut tobacco for over 15 years. Here within the past few years I have come across bags that are not a good cut of tobacco. They might as well be tobacco from the floor. They were replacing the bags for me if I mailed them the bad bags. The last time this happened they told me they would not replace the bags and that they couldn't help me. They made it seem like it was my fault and that I don't know what I am talking about. They said they investigated the issue and found nothing wrong but if that was the case I wouldn't be buying trashy bags still. I received horrible customer service this past time.
I'm a longtime Republic Brands consumer. I just wanted to stop by and share a recent excellent experience -- And share my gratitude to Deanna M with the Republic Customer Service Team. I've mostly had positive experiences with several Republic products -- However, I recently encountered a quality issue that we believe to be isolated. Deanna went above and beyond to make things right and resolve the issue. She's a true professional and has real empathy for customer experiences -- The ease of the resolution process is a real testament to how Republic values their customers.
I would also point out, there are many reviews here that don't portray Republic in a great light -- While I don't want to discredit others experiences as things do happen, I can however attest to my experience, in which Republic has absolutely proven they take pride in their products and stand behind their quality.
That said, I think it would be more accurately reflected here if these reviews included the many thousands of satisfied customers over the years.
